The Big Day

Ceremony

October 12, 2025 • 4:00 PM EDT

Join us as we exchange vows in a beautiful outdoor ceremony (weather permitting). The doors will open at 3:00 PM, so please arrive early to get settled before the ceremony begins.

The ceremony will last approximately one hour.

Reception

October 12, 2025 • 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM EDT

Immediately following the ceremony, we invite you to join us for cocktails, dinner, dancing, and celebration. The reception will be held at the same location.

Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM, followed by our first dance at 8:00 PM.

Guests arrive and check in at the welcome area. Refreshments will be available before the ceremony begins.

Enjoy drinks and appetizers while we take photos. Mingle with other guests in the reception area.

Dinner Service

Sit down for a delicious meal and celebration with speeches from family and friends.

First Dance

8:00 PM EDT

Watch Serena and Alonso share their first dance as a married couple before the dance floor opens for everyone.

Cake Cutting

9:00 PM EDT

Join us for the traditional cake cutting ceremony and enjoy some delicious dessert.

Late Night Snack

11:00 PM EDT

Refuel with a special late-night snack to keep the celebration going strong.

End of Reception

Set on a 100-acre rolling family farm in Keene, Ontario, Farmhill Weddings is a chic, non-traditional venue where post-and-beam interiors, alpacas in the pasture and panoramic countryside views fuse rustic charm with modern style, accommodating up to 200 guests in its timber-frame barn.

Driving Directions

Take Hwy 401 East to Hwy 115. Follow Hwy 115 to the end and merge right onto Hwy 7. Take Hwy 7 east to Drummond Line. Turn right (south) on Drummond line, travel three kilometers to Dillon Rd. Turn Left on Dillon, Farmhill is your first driveway on the right.

From Peterborough

Dress Code

Formal Attire

We kindly request that guests dress in formal attire for our special day.

Please note it is a farm and the ceremony location is on grass, so block heels would be better. Additionally, feel free to bring a blanket if you'd like to sit by the fire at night. It might get cold in the Fall.

Accommodations

We are currently looking into group hotel deals for anyone that wants to stay the weekend in town. More information will be provided as it becomes available.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. The rest of the event will be indoors. There'll be bonfire outside for the people that want to hangout outside too.

Are children welcome?

We would love to, but not during this event.

What time should I arrive?

Please aim to arrive around 3pm. This will give you time to get settled before the ceremony begins at 4pm.

What should I wear?

The dress code is formal. Please note it is a farm and the ceremony location is on grass, so block heels would be better. Additionally, feel free to bring a blanket if you'd like to sit by the fire at night. It might get cold in the Fall.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by June 14, 2025. This will help us make final arrangements with our vendors.
